Awareness Program on Tabacco and E-cigarette

What inspired you to take up the project?

I was inspired to start the Awareness Program on Tobacco and E-cigarettes to help Scouts and young people understand the health and social risks associated with tobacco and e-cigarette use. The project aimed to promote healthy choices, self-discipline, informed decision-making, and a tobacco-free environment through awareness and peer education.

What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?

The project taught me the importance of health awareness, responsible decision-making, and peer support. I learned that clear information and open discussion can help young people understand the risks of tobacco and e-cigarettes and make healthier choices. The project also strengthened my communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?

The project was executed through an awareness session for Scouts and students on the risks of tobacco and e-cigarette use. Information was shared through presentations, discussions, and interactive activities, followed by questions and answers. The programme encouraged participants to make healthy choices and promote a tobacco-free environment.
