In August, when the police went on strike as a result of the popular uprising in Bangladesh, there was a severe crisis in traffic control on various roads in the country. In this critical situation, we were few members of Samatat Open Scouts Group come forward with responsibility. We work to maintain normal traffic flow with the responsibility of traffic control at Dhanmondi intersection in Dhaka, Bangladesh. As a result of this initiative of ours, the traffic congestion is reduced to some extent and common people are able to reach their destinations. The students of various educational institutions stand beside us as cooperation. Local residents have given us courage at various times. Sometimes helped us with different kinds of food and drinks. Sometimes it was seen that the natives stood with us. During the transition period of the country, common people or as scouts should enter the field at any moment. The main goal of a scout is to serve people. I committed to serving the country through the Scout Pledge and have always worked hard to fulfill it. Standing by the people of the country and dedicating myself to their assistance is my solemn commitment.
