FaithFULL, or Projekto Pagtuo, is a project we have initiated to close gaps and division created by the difference in culture and religious beliefs by training youth members from different religious sectors to create a network of inter-religious youth leaders.

We are fortunate to be selected as one of the recipients of the Dialogue for Peace Fund of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) in collaboration with King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID).

We have planned to start the 3-day camp for this project in the end of May 2020. As much as we want to conduct the activity as soon as possible, due to circumstances caused by the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to POSTPONE the event and the project until further notice.

Furthermore, we think that our stakeholders should be informed of the reasons as to how we come up with the decision. The factors that affected our decision are the following:

1. Resources
After the declaration of the lockdown and community quarantine, our team has still been meeting online to discuss the project and to delegate responsibilities, however the meetings aren't that efficient since we cannot perform other tasks that are essential to the project due to the lockdown. Thus, we see that we are unnecessarily consuming our resources such as our time, energy, and even our personal finances.

2. Mental Health
The physical health of the people is only one of the aspects affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we also need to consider the mental well-being of the people in order effectively take action to the effects of the pandemic. We cannot add burden to the mental health of our team by continuing despite if the pandemic.

Taking this factors into consideration is what led to our decision. However, rest assured that this project WILL NOT BE CANCELLED. We only ask for your support and spiritual help for the end of this pandemic and for the well-being of everyone, then after the lockdown and quarantine we shall be resuming our operations.

Sugaron, WBH/CML, Council Scout Executive; Sir Lolito Velasco; Scout Donation Platform Coordinator; our Eagle Scout staff; and the parents, Scouts, and Scouters of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines Bacolod City Council.

Today is not yet the time. We will patiently wait.
