Aid for media at lessons for PHL Rover Congress

I am privileged to become the Media Head for cataloging visual storytelling moments for the BSP's 2nd National Rover Congress on October 28 –30, 2022, themed "Scouting Education for Sustainable Development."

The Congress aims to gather Rovers and Leaders together to learn, share ideas and take action on global issues locally. In this line, Congress highlights the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the 4 Thematic Areas of the Better World Framework. Also, this is my first time discussing one of the topics for the National Scout Organizations for "Rovers for SDGs: Scouting in the Cyberspace".

Events:

- Rovers and Leaders arrived at JMI Farm and successfully conducted the opening program, which was graced with messages from leaders at the World Scout Bureau

- Asia Pacific Region, BSP Batangas Council, Local Government of Batangas, and BSP National Office. The same activity revealed and discussed the symbolic features of this year's Congress Flag.

- Engagement and active participation are some of the objectives of this year's National Rover Congress.

- The Congress immerses face-to-face and online in the Roles of Scouting toward a Sustainable journey.

- On the First Day, Rovers and Leaders focus their minds on the theme of Scouts for SDGs, guiding Sub-Topics including

1. Measuring the impact of Scouting

2. Diversity, and Inclusion: Gender and Development

3. Youth for Change: What skills to create a better world?
