3x participation in race🏃🏻‍♂️-finally BRONZE🥉

🏁Marathon: Three times participation🏃🏻‍♂️- finally BRONZE 🥉 Annually, the Arunima Scout Troop in Kathmandu, Nepal organizes the Scouts Cross Country Race on 8th March (on the auspicious occasion of Women's Day), where scouts from Boys Scouts/ Girls Scouts (11 - 16) and rover/ ranger (16+) participate. I first participated in the 6th Scouts Cross Country Race- 2017, when I was in grade nine (9). I only managed to be in the top 20 and took almost 45 minutes to complete one (1) lap of the track of 7km. Similarly, the following year, I participated in the 7th Scouts Cross Country Race- 2018. I participated with great excitement and hoped to be the medalist. Unfortunately, I was in the top 10, a couple of students back from being a medalist. Finally, in the year 2019, the invitation for the 8th Scouts Cross Country Race arrived and, this year I was competing in the senior section (Rover- 16+ years old) of the marathon. I participated with the other rover of our crew in the marathon, who is a regular runner/ marathon participant. Fortunately, this year, 2019, I bagged BRONZE 🥉 with the other rover participating with me bagged GOLD. I this race, I was able to complete the track in only 29 minutes. My learning is that the dream to get a medal is not possible unless we build ourselves to that caliber. It took me three years to earn one in the marathon.
