From 22 to 24 May 2015 Rijeka was the center of scout activities in Croatia. Town of Rijeka was the host of 11th get-together of Croatian Scout Association. The activity was attended by more than 900 members and leaders from all over the Croatia, and over 100 volunteers and organizers from the Scout Association of Rijeka. They prepared a variety of activities for the participants of all age sections. This event included National Scout Olympics which was attended by 13 teams. Thanks to all the volunteers who have given their best to make this a best get-together of Croatian Scout Association. The event was declared open by Deputy Minister of Social Policy and Youth Ms. Maja Sporiš, and the opening ceremony was attended by the deputy mayor of Rijeka Miroslav Matešić, the head of the Office of the County Goran Petrc, Head of Rijeka office of the National Protection and Rescue Matko Škalamera, Darko Varljen - President of the Red Cross PGC, head of the GSS Rijeka Ante Škrobonja and representatives of the Fire Services Association PGC.
