Every season, a group of dedicated short term staff from around the world come to Kandersteg to work at the heart of the dream at Kandersteg International Scout Centre, "the permanent mini jamboree". This Winter, we have short term staff from Germany, Austria, Denmark, The UK, Finland, Spain and Canada, coming here to work on a volunteer basis to live the dream and give their time to KISC. The short term staff have taken to their new found role as pinkies: leading guests down the ski slopes, taking scouts on all kinds of activities and working around the chalet and the kitchen keeping the centre running. Without the constant support of our short term volunteers we would not exist as a centre, so to the Winter Shorties of 2014, we say thank you!
