Scouts in Bosnia and Herzegovina united in help for the flood affected areas

In last 10 days Bosnia and Herzegovina has been affected by severe floods causing about a quarter of Bosnia and Herzegovina's people to be without clean water after the worst flooding since modern records began. More than 100,000 houses and other buildings were no longer usable and the road infrastructure was badly damaged. There had been about 2,000 landslides, some of which were on minefields left over from the war. Nearly 120,000 UXO landmines remain in more than 9,400 carefully marked minefields. However, this crisis did not prevent our members who were not severely affected by the floods to go directly to those in need, at first collecting and carrying food, blankets, wardrobe, hygiene supplies and fresh water. These activities have not stopped yet have been expanded to collecting the cleaning materials and shovels and providing help in cleaning the affected areas. Here are the photos of affected areas and of our members helping the community.
