MOP during Cub Bulbul Utsav

Cubs, Bulbuls, Rovers, Rangers and Adult leaders during the 23rd Cub Bulbul Utsav held at Hatia/Ranchi on 27th Oct'2013. 338 participants were apprised of the Messenger of Peace Project. They were showed the video on Life vest followed by brainstroming session. They were also showed the video on community service done by the scouts throughtout the world. During an hour session they realised the good done being done by the scouts & guides in the community through service project which leads to peace and thus in creating a better world. Then they were shown the video on how they can upload their good service done in the community on the MOP platform so that other around the world can see and find solution to their problem in the community. At the end they were inspired to join the MOP by the song " Owe, Ale le, Ale le kita tonga, A masa masa masa, ow aloa aloa aloaah." the song became a super hit in the utsav and the particiapants were greatly inspired to register them selves on the MOP platform. The Rovers Rangers and Adult leaders were made to register on the MOP Platform and showed how to upload a project. they were also asked to help the cubs and bulbuls to upload their project under adult supervision. The next day on 28th Morning at 11.00 hrs. again registration on the MOP began where 20 Rovers Rangers and Adult leaders registered themselves on the MOP platform and this continued upto 13.00 hrs. In the evening during the Valedictory function immediately after the Red Flower a brief sensitizing session was taken where the Guests, audience as well as all the participants of the Utsav were appraised of the of the Messenger of Peace Project and how we the scouts & guides are contributing in spreading peace by identyfying problem in the society and thus having a idea of solving the problem, sharing the idea with other thus making it a big project and working on it to create a better world. The Divisional Railway Manager of Ranchi division was the Chief Guest of the Valedictory function. President, South eastern railway womens' welfare organisation and about 30 officers with family actively participated in the inspiring song Ale le along with all the participants of the Utsav. Each and every one appreciated the Messenger of Peace Project and became very much eager to know more about this project. The chief Guest in his address asked the young children in their formative years to actively particiapate in social service done by the scouts & Guides and upload the same on the platform. He appreciated the idea and also took the website address to know more about this. .
