McCoy Fort Site Archaeological Excavation

This project was part of the Boy Scouts of America's National Jamboree Day of Service/Messengers of Peace that our Jamboree Troop C213 participated in on 22 July 2013. It involved the excavation of an archaeological site of historical value to the local community in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. The DOS/MOP was designed for the Jamboree participants to go out and engage in community service in the local, rural communities surrounding the new Summit-Bechtel Scout Reserve in West Virginia, USA.
