Introducing the "Scout Board Game"

Introducing the "Scout Board Game"

One of Messengers of Peace Indonesia Volunteers, Kak Rizky (the word "Kak" in Bahasa Indonesia means older brother/sister) passionately and voluntarily created a board game for Scouts. The game has several Scouts characters (boys and girls) to be matched with Scouting skills the have to master. The game is ideal for 5 people and will take 30 - 60 minutes to complete. Those who take turn and get the "skill card" have to read the instruction aloud and practice it! It's fun isn't it? He also developed another board game bringing the theme of nationalism; a perfect mixture of Monopoli, "Dakon" (one of Indonesia Traditional Games) and Uno brought altogether. Very creative. The purpose of this game is actually to encourage people to sit and play together, face to face so that they can interact each other and getting to know better among themselves. This is done in response to digital era in which people tend to be individualistic and busy with their own gadget. This is still the prototype which will be further developed. We plan to develop one for Messengers of Peace also. Wish us luck.
