Flinders Park Scout assisting the hungry in SA.
Our children were wanting to help the community and decided to run a food drive with members of our Scouting Group. We visited our local Foodbank to donate the food which ended up being 216 kgs which would feed 260 people 1 meal. We were luckily enough to complete a tour around their warehouse and learnt about the great effort they complete in our community. Upon leaving some members purchased some other items which equal to another 60 people meals so we totalled 320 meals to the homeless.

Our children learnt about how Foodbank assist the community in schools and provide cheaper shopping through their Foodhub shop.
