There are so many tourist places in Rajasthan that are worth exploring. Here is a look at some scouting destinations in the state of Rajasthan. Pushkar Fair Ground The Pushkar Fair of Rajasthan, which is an annual five-day affair in Rajasthan, is also known as the Pushkar ka Mela. It is a livestock fair that is held in the small town of Pushkar in Rajasthan. Considered as one of the largest livestock markets in the world, the annual Pushkar fair attracts thousands of tourists which come from all over the world to view this spectacular extravaganza. Apart from the buying and selling of the livestock like camels and horses, it has now turned into a major tourist attraction for Rajasthan. Some local competitions hold the attraction of the Fair crowd. The location of the festival is along the Pushkar Lake, and there are lots of exciting events that take place during these five days. Nahargarh Biological Park Located in the vicinity of the Nahargarh Fort, the biological park of Nahargarh is spread across an area of more than seven sq km within the sanctuary park. This park is known for its tropical rain forests and the dry deciduous forests along with the rocks of different genre like quartzite and granite etc. There are several animals within this park, and they are all taken good care through the day. At present, there are around 23 lions and 12 tigers in the park. There are also other variety of animals and birds of the rare species along with varied flora and fauna. It is a great scouting area and is worth exploring.
