Iftar Distribution - 2026

The initiative for Iftar Distribution–2026 was driven by a sense of social responsibility and compassion during the holy month of Ramadan. Recognizing that many people in busy urban areas struggle to arrange proper meals for iftar due to financial hardship or demanding work schedules, our team aimed to support them in a meaningful way. Under the leadership of our trainer, Samiur Rahman Khan (BMSCSG), the project was designed to promote empathy, community service, and the true spirit of sharing and kindness that Ramadan represents.

The project was successfully carried out through coordinated teamwork and effective planning. Under the guidance of our trainer, a dedicated team was formed consisting of two Senior Patrol Leaders (MD. Mir Ashraful Islam and Muntasir Abdullah Ehan), two Patrol Leaders (Arafat Hossain and Farhan Abrar Shayan), an Assistant Patrol Leader (myself), and a Rover Member from Samatat Open Scout Group (MD. Raiyan Mollah). We distributed a total of 50 iftar packages across key locations in Dhaka, including Banglamotor, New Eskaton, and Mogbazar. The team ensured proper packaging, timely distribution before Maghrib, and respectful interaction with recipients. Each member contributed actively, ensuring the smooth and efficient implementation of the project.

This project provided valuable practical and personal learning experiences. Firstly, it strengthened our teamwork, leadership, and coordination skills, as successful execution required collaboration and clear communication. Secondly, it enhanced our sense of empathy and social awareness by directly engaging with people in need. Additionally, we learned the importance of planning, time management, and resource allocation in community service activities. Most importantly, the project reinforced the values of kindness, generosity, and selflessness, inspiring us to continue contributing positively to society in the future.
