Vitamin "A+" Campaign Kickoff | March 1, 2025
As a Rover Scout, my decision to volunteer for the National Vitamin A+ Campaign stems from a deep-seated dedication to community well-being and public health. I'm driven by the conviction that all children should have a strong, healthy foundation, and providing essential vitamins is fundamental needs.
During the National Vitamin A+ Campaign, I dedicated myself as a Rover Scout to distributing vitamin A capsules carefully, reaching children in Dhaka. I performed my tasks at the Patwary Clinic in Mirpur, Dhaka, with the utmost care and respect for every child. Across two days, we successfully administered capsules to over 200 children and educated their parents on essential health practices, making sure no one was missed.
The National Vitamin A+ Campaign project was a powerful lesson in the importance of teamwork, communication, and community participation for public health. I gained valuable experience managing logistics, interacting with diverse groups, and educating parents on health benefits.
