Around 130 students from different schools in Thimphu gathered and went to Talakha Goenpa which is said to be one of the remarkable religious sites in Bhutan. We started our journey by 9:00am in the morning and it took almost whole day to get back to our respective home. When reaching at Talakha goenpa we did white washing of lhakhang and cleaning around the lhakhang. We initiated this program mainly to encourage our young minds to develop sense of volunteerism and become responsible.
