NAKBORO 2023 consecutive projects
After Nakboro trainings (https://sdgs.scout.org/project/nakboro-2023), 11 participants tell their projects in Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, France, Senegal, Tchad and Togo. ITT participants aspired to foster the growth of NSA managers and local groups and to update NSO and NSA managers’ skills. MoP participants aspired to support children and young people regarding food security, social inequalities, educational abuse and marginalisation and integration.
Around 73% of 11 Nakboro participants have implemented a project or are half-way to the implementation. They followed a common process. Depending on their goals, they carried out specific actions.
Some participants created training contents and a digital training platform. Numerous playful workshops, trainings and some psychosocial counselling and scout and guide camps were hold.
Some participants communicated and collected donations and organised distribution of school, food and hygiene kits.
Participants made progress regarding project management. Specifically, ITT participants improved their ability to create training programmes and MoP participants to build and update training modules. Participants acquired thematic knowledge (environmental protection, humanitarian action, social responsibility, civic engagement). They also strengthened personal skills like empathy, solidarity, adaptation, frustration management, determination and self-confidence.
