Over all Report on Webinar : "I am a Global Citizen" - A Series of Webinar on SUSTAINABLE Development Goals. _____________________ Day 1: On 07th June 2021 , The Bharat Scouts and Guides has been conducted its 1st Day Webinar on "I am a Global Citizen" - A Series of Webinar on SUSTAINABLE Development Goals. The very first day was a grand successful with overwhelming candidates from all over the Nation. Chief Guest: Dr. Ranoj Pegu Sir_Honorable Minister of Education_Government of Assam State. Encouraged mass NSO participants to work towards Sdgs & reach the goals in their respective communities. Resource Person/Speaker: Shri. Madhusudan Avala Sir_Deputy_International Commissioner Scout. : Information to the participants with the greater remarks on “Scouts for SDGs” initiatives, targets & Indicators,its objectives and components which laid the foundation to the what and how we as Scouts can contribute to the goal's targets & indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals. The webinar was been witnessed by – Shri_M.A. Khalid Sir_Additional Chief National Commissioner. Shri. A.K. Absar Hazarika Sir_SCC Assam. They all blessed for the success of the Webinar Series and also inspired the Scouts and Guides to take actions during their community workings. The welcome address of the inaugural event was effectively given by Shri.Chandrajit Sir_Saikia_SCC_ N.F. Railway. Where the master of ceremony was greatly managed by Ms. Ayantika Kundu Mam & Mr. Satyajit Chatterjee Sir. The webinar was inaugurated by the chief guest, Dr. Ranoj Pegu Sir_Hon'ble Minister of Education, Govt. of Assam. The event came to a close after an interesting quiz conducted by the organising team members & with the Vote of Thanks given by Darshana Pawashkar Mam_Joint Director Guide (BSG) . _____________________ Day 2: On 08th June 2021 , The Bharat Scouts and Guides has been conducted its 2nd Day Webinar on "I am a Global Citizen" - A Series of Webinar on SUSTAINABLE Development Goals. Ms. Darshana Pawashkar Mam_Joint Director Guide presented the welcome address and opened the day 2nd. The Chief Guest Dr. Pankaj Mittal Mam_NC(Ranger) BSG-India addressed the gathering and stressed on the importance of youth in the movement towards achieving the SDGs. Very exciting part of the webinar was the presence of speakers from WAGGGS. Ms. Rojo Andriamahery Mam, Ms. Germaine Umuraza Mam, Ms. Nikita Miller Mam and Ms. Ankita Pandey Mam were the guest speakers from WAGGGS. They presented on the WAGGGS initiatives and their objectives and contribution to achieving the SDGs 2030. The session also included the speakers sharing their experiences and impacts of their work towards SDGs. After that quiz on SDGs conducted by Mr. Satyajit Chatterjee Sir . Mr. Imlisunep Sir and Ms. Barsha Rani Mam _in association with Mr. Satya Prakash Sir shared glimpses into their work in their regions – North East and Orissa respectively. It was inspiring to see what and how fellow scouts and guides were undertaking projects for the attaining the targets of the sustainable development Goals Master of Ceremony was greatly handled by : Mr. Mohammed Abrar Sir and Ms. Shimti Mam. The Day 2 of the Webinar series continued in grate inspirational manner as that of the day 1st . _____________________ Day 3 On 09th June 2021 , The Bharat Scouts and Guides has been conducted its 3rd Day Webinar on "I am a Global Citizen" - A Series of Webinar on SUSTAINABLE Development Goals. The Day 3rd of the Webinar came to a start with the welcome address by Ms. M.N. Machamma Mam Deputy Director Guide (Leader Trainee) It held the promise of providing the participants with an overview of how can one formulate and undertake a project and move towards the 2030 Global Goals. The Master(s) of Ceremony leading the programme for the day were Mr. Deepak Kumar Sir and Mr. Vikash Sir. Mr. J C Mohanty Sir_International Commissioner(Scout) _BSGIndia._Chief Guest for the event spoke about being a global citizen, what it means and entails. The guest speaker, Ms. Neha Mam_Director & CEO – Dame & Earl, LLP Co-Founder, Board of Director – YSI. : They spoke about the “Role of Young People in implementation of SDGs”. Their talk covered elements of how one can initiate their own projects. It focused on the components of understanding and prioritizing needs and measuring implementation of the project. In addition, they shared experiences of working in the field. It was very informative and interactive. Mr. Satyajit Chatterjee Sir conducted the quiz for Day 3 which is one of the most awaited session of the webinar. The webinar also had Ms. Dimpy Talukdar Mam and Mr. Pradeep Pradhan Sir shared experience and insights into their projects focused on SDG 3 and SDG 4 respectively. Before the close of the webinar, Ms. Himanshi Mam shared a short presentation U-Report on how to register & it's importance. Mr. Arup Sarkar Sir give the Vote of Thanks for the Webinar which marked the webinar which effectively managed. _____________________ Day 4 : On 10th June 2021 _The Bharat Scouts and Guides has been conducted it's 4th Day Webinar on "I am a Global Citizen" - A Series of Webinar on SUSTAINABLE Development Goals. The welcome address presented by Mr. S. S. Ray Sir _ADNR. Ms. Amelia Swer Mam:International Commissioner(G), BSG-India _the Chief Guest, addressed the participants and stressed on what it means to be a global citizen and how one can work on achieving the goals of SDGs. Ms. Shweta Shinde mam_Project Assistant UNDP and Mr. Anirudha Deshpande, Assistant Professor – College of Engineering Osmanabad. : Speaker of the Day made a presentation titled “SDG Agenda 2030”. Their presentation outlined and provided insights into the components and importance of each of the 17 SDGs with the evolution of SDGs. Mr. Anirudha Despande Sir's :“Role of Young People in Sustainable Environment and Quality Education” encouraged the participants to think about the empowering role of technology in the journey towards the Global Goals. Master(s) of Ceremony greatly handled by :Mr. Saranraj Sir & Ms. Dhruvi Patel Mam. The quiz was conducted by Mr. Satyajit Chatterjee Sir. Ms. Sharmin Banu M S shared about their project in Udupi District : Karnataka State and how it contributes to the whole SDGs & Petition towards giving up single use plastic. The Young Warriors Initiative was introduced by Ms. Priyanka Prajapat Mam to the participants who encouraged everyone to be a part of the movement. Mr. Analendra Sarma (ADNER) motivated all participants with vote of thanks. The day is yielded very effective outcomes towards the sustainable community up keeping promise. _____________________ Day 5: On 11th June 2021 , The Bharat Scouts and Guides has been conducted its 5th Day Webinar on "I am a Global Citizen" - A Series of Webinar on SUSTAINABLE Development Goals. The webinar get started with words of welcome from Ms. Kumud Mehra Mam _Assistant Director Southern Region BSG. Dr. Vijayalakshi Mam_National Commissioner (Guide), BSG India:Chief Guest addressed all the participants for the scouts and guides to convincing people to undertake measures towards attaining SDGs and the objective to creating awareness in their respective communities. The speaker for day was Mr. Jeevan Babu Sir_IAS, SCC Kerala and Director of General Education, Govt. of Kerala. It was overall an enriching and interactive sessions with real life examples. His words motivated all the participants to understand the strength they possess, as an individual and as a team, to achieving SDGs. He also shared glimpses into the SDI Composite Index and rankings. Master(s) of Ceremony was blissfully conducted by Mr. Shubam Singh Sir & Ms. Priyanka Prajapat Mam. The most exciting part of the event, the quiz, was conducted by Mr.Kekhrieselhou Sir . It was inspiring to see the works undertaken by our fellow scouts and guides in their own communities. For the inspiration on workings on SDGS sharing session, Ms. Monalisa Das Mam and Mr. Shubham Singh Sir shared about their projects on SDG 4 and SDG 6 initiatives espectively in their communities. The organising team conducted a session on informing the participants about the feedback form for the SDG Webinar to gain their opinions on the event. The end of the webinar was marked with the Vote of Thanks from Mr. Bablu Goswami Sir _ ADER . They day ended with effective outcomes during the webinar. _____________________ Day 6 : On 12th June 2021 , The Bharat Scouts and Guides has been conducted its 6th Day Webinar on "I am a Global Citizen" - A Series of Webinar on SUSTAINABLE Development Goals. The welcome address was presented by Ms. Shivangi Saxena Mam _ADCR who welcomed the gathering. Unfortunately, the chief guest for the day Mr. S. K. Biswas Sir _National Commissioner of Scout (Adult Resources), BSG India _was unable to join the webinar due to technical issues. Master(s) of Ceremony was greatly handled by Mr. Supreeth Balaji Sir & Mr. Vikash Singh Mattu Sir. Resource Person/Speaker: Mr. Jitesh Sheth, Dy. National Commissioner (Rover), BSG India and Mr. Krishnaswamy R, Executive Director BSG India The Master(s) of Ceremony of Day 06 of the Webinar were Mr. Vikash Singh Mattu and Mr. Supreeth Balaji. Mr. Jitesh Sheth, along with Mr. Bablu Goswani, began their presentation on Global Citizen Education before proceed into the Online Youth Membership System (OYMS). They provided in-depth understanding and clarity into why OYMS was introduced, how is works and addressed the issue of data safety raised by the participants. Mr. Krishnaswamy Ramamoorthy Sir_Executive Director, provided a brief overview into how the SDGs have been integrated in the scouting and guiding movement. He traced back the efforts to the time of Lord BP and his campfire yarns. His presentation also matched the SDGs with proficiency badges from the APRO. It provided insights into how scouts and guides have been working towards SDGs since very long. The quiz was successfully conducted by Ms. Priyanka Prajapat Mam. Ms. Aayushi Gupta Mam :shared her experiences and project work with all those in attendance for the webinar. The vote of thanks presented by Mr. Analendra Sharma – ADNER. Where the youth improved their self towards Sdg achievement. _____________________ Day :7 On 13th June 2021 ,The Bharat Scouts and Guides has been conducted its Closing ceremony of "I am a Global Citizen" - A Series of Webinar on SUSTAINABLE Development Goals. The master of ceremony was been effectively handled by Ms. Shibhangi Mam &Mr. Kekhrieselhou. Sir . Mr. Analendra Sarma Welcomed the whole ceremony very smoothly managed where they given brief report on the whole webinar . The ceremony also witnessed the amazing thinking of Quiz winners towards the Webinar on Sdgs i.e Ms. Dakshana Indumathi mam,Mr.Shashank sir & Ms. Preethi Mam. Mr.MD.Abrar Shariff Sir upheld their contribution towards Sdgs , where they inspired all of the candidates towards Plastic Tide Turner. Shri.
