The membership of SSA is mainly from the less affluent and more vulnerable members of society of South Africa and we are encouraging growth of the Movement in these areas. For many of these youth the program offers opportunities to experience things that had never been dreamt of before. SSA implemented a “growth” project in KwaZulu-Natal. To date more than 50,000 children between the ages of 7 and 18 have joined the organisation as youth members. To enable the children to run meaningful program, starter kits are put together that contain the following:  Big black container  Soccer ball  3 tennis balls  Various arts and craft material, i.e. scissors, paint, pencils  Program books to assist the adult leaders to put meaningful program together  Program books for the youth  Rope  First Aid kit 32 Starter kits were put together for the various groups. More than 1,900 youth members will benefit from this grant.
