Sprouting Green in Western Kenya
Young offenders, often marginalized, deserve a chance. By engaging them in environmental initiatives, we can empower them, heal their minds, and inspire them to become agents of change. This project aimed to bridge the gap between society and these young individuals, fostering a sense of belonging and hope for a sustainable future.
The team partnered with the University of Nairobi to secure transportation to Kakamega. They also collaborated with Scouts and Law to gain support in legal matters related to the juveniles and to provide mentoring to the young offenders.
