Serving Meals, Sharing Smiles

Witnessing the struggles of homeless people, sick individuals, children, and rickshaw drivers around us deeply moved us. Their daily challenges inspired the Metropolitan University Rover Scout Group to step forward. We aimed to make a small but meaningful difference by sharing food and showing compassion, reminding everyone that our community stands with its most vulnerable members.

Our Metropolitan University Rover Scout Group planned and carried out a 2-day food distribution on October 15th and 16th. We identified vulnerable groups such as homeless people, sick individuals, children, and rickshaw drivers in the community. We collected food donations from volunteers and supporters, prepared the meals, and distributed them directly to those in need, ensuring everyone received care and attention.

We discovered the true value of empathy and unity while serving others. Supporting those in need taught us gratitude and deepened our dedication to community service. We also realized that even the smallest gestures of kindness can bring meaningful change to people’s lives.
