Observation Of International Day of Peace

Peace is the path we take for bringing growth and prosperity to society. If we do not have peace and harmony, achieving political strength, economic stability and cultural growth will be impossible. Moreover, before we transmit the notion of peace to others, it is vital for us to possess peace within. Through peace we can not only pave the path for personal growth but also contribute in the development of the community as a whole.

After taking necessary permissions from our district authority we executed the project by planting various seed by making seed balls (approx 45) around the Hijuguri Railway colony and distributing food (approx 70 packets) and Clothes (approx 80) around the Shani Mandir, Tinsukia. We also organised a Youth parliament at The nearby Gyannpith school with approx 350 students and a Run for peace around the Hijuguri Railway colony.

Through the initiative we were able to learn the need for peace around us. We also learnt about the sorrows of the people and the measures we can take upon to resolve these problems. We also learnt about a new method of plantation by making seed balls. To also aware the students about the need for international peace we also involved students with us to get ideas from the youth about how we can ensure peace around the globe through our actions.
