Learn Together
Nowadays, many students cannot go to school regularly due to poverty, lack of awareness and shortage of necessary educational materials, and many even drop out. This reality has deeply concerned us. As Rover, we are inspired by our sense of responsibility towards society to stand by the students. We have taken up the “Learn Together” program with the aim of creating interest in education among them, making them school-oriented and preventing dropouts.
First we select a school. Then we discuss with the school teachers and authorities and prepare a list of poor and talented students. Then with the help of scout members, we collect the necessary money and purchase various educational materials including notebooks, pens, pencils and on the appointed day we present these materials to the students through a short program. Along with this, we give motivational speeches to encourage them to study.
Through this program, we have realized that even a small amount of support can make a big difference in a child's educational life. The smiles on the students' faces and their enthusiasm have taught us to be more humane and responsible. We have gained experience in the importance of teamwork, planning and implementation. In addition, we have realized our responsibility towards society more deeply and have been inspired to do such programs on a larger scale in the future.
