FLOWER BEAUTIFICATION AROUND THE STUPA.

I was deeply motivated and inspired by our Dasho Drungpa (the local leader of Tashichholing Drungkhag), who has always been a role model in our community. His dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving others encouraged me to become more responsible and confident in my own actions. I was also greatly inspired by many Scout Leaders whose guidance, support, and valuable teachings helped me understand the true spirit of Scouting.

We were informed by our local leaders to carry out beautification work at our local public Chorten (Stupa). With great enthusiasm, I gathered active Scout members from my school, and together we planned and implemented the project. Our work included planting flowers and ornamental plants, constructing flower beds and pots around the Chorten, cutting grass, cleaning the surroundings, and washing the structures to improve the overall appearance of the area.

The project took nearly ten days to complete. We worked under the scorching sun and usually returned home only in the evening after a full day of effort. Although the work was physically challenging, we remained committed and worked as a team. Local residents also supported us throughout the project by encouraging us and offering refreshments. This experience taught us the value of teamwork, perseverance, and community service, and it strengthened our sense of responsibility toward our community.
