Eco-Art & Action: Peace through SDG 13 & 15 💚

We were inspired by our teachers. They told us about World Peace Week and we decided to hold a awareness campaign on climate change under the Sustainable Development Goals, so that young people also get the chance to play their part.

We the Rovers & Rangers gave a presentation in school to both Scouts and non-Scouts about climate change under the SDGs, focusing especially on single-use plastic and greenery. The students shared their own ideas, and after the workshop there was a drawing competition in which the children participated enthusiastically.

We learnt from this project that we should use as little plastic as possible, so we can protect greenery. The young generation also benefited from exchanging new ideas. The children learned: 1) The problems, effects, and causes of climate change. 2)To care for plants regularly. 3)To stop using plastic bags and use cloth bags instead, etc.
