Compost Pit
I was inspired to start this project because students were throwing leftover food and fruit peel near the tap. I wanted to promote proper waste management and teach students to turn organic waste into useful compost while keeping our school clean.
Using the DFC approach, class 5 students and i planned the project together, discussed the solution, and worked together to dig a pit for composting leftover food and fruits peels
I learned the importance of teamwork, proper waste management, and taking responsibility for keeping our school clean. I also learned that small actions can make a big difference in protecting the environment.
