Cleaning campaign
During Moenlam, I noticed waste like plastic bottles and wrappers left behind after prayer sessions. Seeing a sacred place become dirty motivated my team and me to organize a cleaning campaign. Our goal was to keep the area clean and show that small actions can make a big difference.
We organized a team during Moenlam and collected waste after prayer sessions. We divided responsibilities, used gloves and garbage bags, and focused on areas with the most litter. We also encouraged people to maintain cleanliness.
During this cleaning campaign, I learned the importance of teamwork and community effort in keeping our environment clean. I also realized that small actions, like picking up litter, can make a big difference and that planning and responsibility are key to completing a project successfully.
