The Basic Training Course- Stages 1 & 2, was held at Daku Primary School. The Trainers were from Labasa and about 10 participants with other helpers took part in the above course. The main focus was on the Leadership skills as well as basic skills of scouting which can be taught to the young minds in Primary schools. Leaders were trained to develop their scouts so that they can create Peace and become better leaders of tomorrow. The participants had 3 days workshop which included the indoor and outdoor skills in scouting. There were 2 patrols in which they did various activities as assigned by the trainers. They have learnt alot and we hope that their knowledge in scouting has progressed and they will provide better service to the district, country and the nation as a whole.
