Water Source Restoration and maintenance
Today in this era the day starts with the utilization of water and ends with the water. Without the water the life on land or beyond won't be possible. To provide the clean, safe and continuous drinking water to the tens of hundreds of students, teachers, and relatives residing inside the boarding school campus, the restoration and maintenance of water source project was initiated in weekend.
The important materials like metal wire, pipe joining equipment and lunch was provided by the school. Other tools needed for the project were brought by individual members involved in the project. We travelled for almost 30 minutes by school utility car and then walked towards the water source for around 45 minutes. Reaching the destination we all teamed up into different groups; restoration of the source, cleaning the water tank and pipe connection team.
Despite walking through the forest and working in the rain, the satisfaction derived by all the members after completing the job was immense and worth remembering. The smile on everyone's face at the end of the day with a hot cup of tea made the tiring day a happy ending.
