Vitamin A Plus Campaign
I was inspired to start this program because I care a lot about children in my community. I know that Vitamin A is very important for their growth and protection from disease, but parents aren't aware of the benefits of it. When I saw the Vitamin A+ campaign happening, I felt it was a chance for me as a scout to do something meaningful. I wanted to make sure every child had the chance to get this protection. It made me proud , I could help keep children healthy and bring hope for a better future.
I carried out my project with the support of my scout friends and health workers. On the campaign day, I learned about the Vitamin A Plus campaign so I could explain it properly to parents. I helped at the center by guiding parents. We successfully administered 72 children. And educated their parents about the importance of taking vitamin A+ and encouraging them to bring their children.
I learned many important lessons from this project. The biggest one is that even small efforts can make a big difference in people’s lives. I saw how just reminding a parent or giving simple information could help protect a child’s health. I also learned the value of teamwork—working with other scouts and health workers made everything easier and more successful. Finally, I realized that serving the community not only helps others, but also gives me confidence and happiness.
