Scout Leader Helping Deaf Children Dream Big
We were inspired by the WOSM TTL initiative, its funding support, and its mission to help vulnerable young people—especially homeless, deaf, and disabled children. The powerful global success stories of transformed lives motivated us to bring the same positive change to Nepal.
We implemented the TTL Project by identifying vulnerable children, enrolling them into Scout-based learning groups, and providing life-skills training, education support, counseling, and community engagement activities. Through regular meetings, leadership sessions, and personal development programs, we helped children gain confidence, stability, and a supportive environment to grow and reintegrate into society.
We learned that consistent support, community involvement, and a safe environment can greatly transform vulnerable children. Even small interventions build confidence and hope, and patience, compassion, and teamwork are key to helping them overcome challenges.
