WWF-India, Tamil Nadu State office in association with Anantharasu Aided Middle School, Maraignayanallur, Vedaraniam and Arumugam Pillai Seethai Ammal College, Thirupattur organized wildlife week celebration on 5th October and 8th October respectively. As part of this celebration WWF-TNSO has conducted student’s competitions (like painting, wildlife quiz, elocution etc,) awareness talks on importance of wildlife conservation and snakes show. A total of 330 students have actively participated in the celebration. Sr. Education Officer conducted the event in both the places with support from school and college staff.
