Scouts from Bacolod City Council, Boy Scouts of the Philippines launch the Solar Powered Tinig-ang during the 19th Council Scout Jamborette at Fr. Gratian Murray Integrated School last October 26-30, 2016.. This Solar Powered was very safe, easy and fuel-free cooking of rice in a dozen black aluminum pots (Kalderos). These aluminum kalderos were lain in the middle of insulation foams, 15 meters in length and cut in circular design. Said pot and foam were filed a long way horizontally under the heat of the sun. it was fuel free indeed and a green solution cooking ideal for a community that has long been dependent on fossil fuel or firewood.
