Throughout the year Northridge Para Vista scout troop completed a number of community projects in order to give back to the community. These projects consisted of: * cleaning up a local beauty spot, removing electronic waste and debris (6 hours) * helping collect donations for a local charity (Backpack4KidsSA) so that children who were placed in emergency care had a backpack with essential supplies in it to enable them to settle in quickly (6 hours) *working with local Park Rangers to assist with weeding foreign plants (8 hours) *collecting donations to send Christmas parcels to serving military personnel overseas (4 hours)
