Jai Guru Dev MAHARISHI DISTTRICT National Integration Camp- A Report A National Integration Camp for Scouts and Guides was held at Ganganagar, Kolkata from 10th Dec to 14th Dec, 2015 . Maharishi District had actively participated in this 5-day camp with its 8 scouts from Maharishi VidyaMandir Sr. Sec School, Polachery and 8 Guides from Maharishi International Residential School with their scout master and guide captains respectively. Scouts and Guides of 28 states from various part of India participated in the camp, who were in service to showcase their talents and learn new ideas by interacting with each other through games and talent competitions. Agenda: DAY 1: 7:30 AM : Arrival at National Integration Camp, Ganganagar, Kolkata 3:30 PM: Inaugural function 7:30 PM: Camp Fire DAY 2: 6:30 pm: All state assembly for Physical jerk 7:30 pm : Kit inspection by Inspector 8:30 pm : Breakfast 9:30-12:30 pm : State Exposition Competition for States A-M 2:30 pm : Integration game for scouts and guides 5:30 pm : “ Messenger of Peace” at the auditorium and Cultural programme 10:30 pm: Lights off DAY 3: 6:30 am : All states assembly for Aerobics and Physical Jerk 7:30 am : Kit inspection by Inspector 9: 30 am – till evening : “ State Exposition Competition” “ Festivals of India” 7:30 pm : Folk Dance Competition DAY 4: 6:30AM : Aerobics and Physical Jerk 7:30 am : Kit inspection by Inspector 9:30 am : Folk dance by each state 10:30 am : Cooking Famous dishes of states 2:30 pm :Frienship Game Part-I DAY 5: 6:45 AM : All Faith Prayer 9:30 AM : Sight Seeing A visit to famous Places in Kolkata 8:30 AM : Reached Howra railway station to head back home. We are extremely happy to have won the second prize in ‘ State Exposition ‘ competition and also take the opportunity to thank our State Chief Commissioner, StateSecretary, State Organising Commissioners Scouts & Guides, Senior Principal Mr. Namachivayam, Mr.D. Poornachandran, ALT(c) and the District Secretary for giving a chance to represent our district (state) in the National integration camp.
