COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT COMBAT HIV/AIDS MALARIA AND OTHER DISEASES  Introduction Education should not confine to the textbook. Apart from the bookish knowledge, we must come across many hands on experiences in the society. Scout and guide is one such organisation which promotes the students to develop life skills and allow the students to participate in different types of activities with people of society. These activities will help us to understand the problems of the society. So I always feel proud of this organisation. In this regard we obtained a project on Combat Malaria, HIV/AIDS and other diseases. These diseases are commonly effected the people during some seasons. Lack of knowledge about the diseases, improper sanitation is the main cause to spread these type of diseases in and around of our town. Having all precautions taken by the government authority still people are suffering from these diseases. So through this project we got an opportunity to know more about these problems and we could educate the people of the town to take precautions from these problems and we believe that “PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE”.  Aims and objectives o Uppinangady is a village area.
