Problem and solution statement The project is addressing environmental degradation in butambala district, Uganda. The environment has been and is being degraded at a hyper pace through clearing up the natural forests for different purposes. This has resulted into changes in precipitation levels and changes in seasons through out the country. Historically Butambala district was endowed with plenty of forests including Bbebe, Kasuku, Lubira, Mugojja, Katambwa forests and many more which are now perishing due to human activities. There in Butambala Scouts Youth Forum came in to address this problem by planting fruits trees in different schools that have got vast free land first sampled at Kibibi Secondary School. About five hundred trees were planted and they're managed by the kibibi ss Scouts Unit,after that sample we're targeting to disburse a rotational schools tree planting all over the district.
