The 1st Iloilo (Confesor) Council World Scout Environment Education Course (WSEEC) Iloilo was attended by Adult Leaders of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines Iloilo (Confesor) Council Scout Executives, and Senior Scouts in DENR-Field Office, Maasin Watershed Forest Reserve, Maasin, Iloilo last 29-31 July 2016. The WSEEC will be the pilot course of Iloilo (Confesor) Council on Environment Education, after its adoption of the 1st World Scout Environment Education Course in Mt. Makiling last 1-5 June 2016. It will highlight the thrust of the BSP in reaffirming the importance and value of the environment in the Scout Method, the Scout Law and the educational principles of the Scouting Movement. The WSEEC focuses on the World Scout Environment Programme with the theme "Nature Study is the Key Element in Scouting."
