The Plantation Awareness Drive through Nursery project was conducted to promote environmental sustainability and encourage tree plantation in the community. Members of The Bharat Scouts and Guides visited a local nursery to gain practical knowledge about different plant species, their medicinal and ecological benefits, and correct plantation techniques.The team understood the importance of increasing green cover to combat climate change and pollution. This knowledge was then shared with the community through an awareness drive, where people were educated about the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance, improving air quality, and conserving biodiversity. Special focus was given to engaging children and youth to build long-term environmental responsibility. Saplings were distributed along with simple eco-friendly messages, and participants were encouraged not only to plant trees but also to nurture and protect them. The project successfully raised awareness, strengthened community participation, and developed leadership, communication, and teamwork skills among volunteers. It also created a sense of responsibility towards nature, inspiring individuals to take continuous action for a greener and healthier environment
