The Bharat Scouts & Guides Maharishi District conducted “SCOUTS & GUIDES WEEK CELEBRATIONS” cum “FREE-BEING –ME” at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Polachery on 8th November 2014. There are 116 Scouts & Guides 10 Scouters & Guiders from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Chetpet,Maharishi International Residential School, G.T.Aloha Vidhya Mandir,Maharishi Vidya Mandir Polachery, Maharishi Vidya Mandir Irrungakottai and Maharishi Vidya Mandir Chengalpet were participated. Smt.Uma Principal of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Polachery welcomed the gathering. We had competition on Quiz, Community Song and Pioneering. The Scouts & Guides enjoyed the competitions. Mr.D.Poornachandran ALT ( C ) District Secretary of Maharishi District present the importance of the Foundation Day. Mr.K.Ekambaram LT ( C ) was the Judge for the events. With blessing of District Chief Commissioner Shri.S.Namasiviyam event went on well.
