The Bharat Scouts & Guides Maharishi District conducted “SCOUTS & GUIDES WEEK CELEBRATIONS” cum “FREE-BEING –ME” at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Irungathukottai on 12TH November 2014. There are 120 Cubs & Bulbuls 30 Scouters & Guiders from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Chetpet,Maharishi International Residential School, G.T.Aloha Vidhya Mandir,Maharishi Vidya Mandir Polachery and Maharishi Vidya Mandir Irrungakottai and were participated. Smt.SaraSelvakumari Principal of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Irungathukottai was the Chief Guest. Mr.Srinivasan Scout Master welcomed the gathering. We had competition on Cultural Progamme (Folk dance). The Cubs & Bulbuls enjoyed the competitions. Mr.D.Poornachandran ALT ( C ) District Secretary of Maharishi District present the importance of the Foundation Day. Mr.K.Ekambaram LT ( C ) was the Judge for the event. With blessing of District Chief Commissioner Shri.S.Namasiviyam event went on well.
