Fork It Right – Don’t Waste a Bite-2025
With growing food waste in street food areas, our goal was to raise awareness about mindful consumption and encourage people to donate leftover food instead of throwing it away.
As the Former Senior Patrol Leader of BIAM Model School & College Scout Group, I led the campaign with support from Patrol Leaders Md. Mir Ashraful, Rafiqul Islam Uday, and rover Md. Raiyan Mollah from Samatat Open Scout Group. From 9th to 10th April 2025, we visited food carts in Moghbazar, Malibagh, and Shantibagh, distributing awareness leaflets to both vendors and customers.
We learned how simple awareness can spark responsible behavior, especially regarding food habits. It also strengthened our teamwork and communication skills while deepening our understanding of social responsibility.
