2025 Kang Chiao Scout Fundraising Activity
We, as Scouts, are creating a better world. We can make a positive change in the world by becoming active citizens in our community. Scouts do good and help others because it is part of the values and principles we have adopted. It is also because it is nice to help others and to make a difference, even if it is only a small action. Whenever we are kind to people we send a message of love and peace, making a difference to them and also ourselves.
Overall, the activity promoted social awareness, volunteerism, and personal growth, empowering Scouts to understand the impact of their actions while making a positive difference in society.
Participating Scouts not only gained practical experience in fundraising but also developed empathy, courage, and a sense of social responsibility. By interacting with the public, explaining the purpose of the fundraising, and handling challenges such as being refused donations, Scouts learned resilience and the value of taking initiative.
For the community, the collected funds provided tangible support to children and adolescents in need, helping them receive education, counseling, shelter, and other essential services. The project also raised awareness among the public about the importance of supporting disadvantaged children and youth.
