Learning Nutrition Through Practice

On 20 December 2025, a nutrition session under the Food for Life project was held during the Youth Forum, bringing together 48 participants for a practical and engaging learning experience. Before the session began, everything was already prepared, the salad was ready, the table was set, and the soup was served for the Scouts. This simple but powerful moment set the tone for the session, reminding participants that nutrition is not only something we talk about, but something we practice. Through sharing a well-prepared and balanced meal, Scouts experienced firsthand the importance of healthy eating and proper food preparation. The session emphasized how balanced nutrition contributes to growth, energy, and overall well-being, especially for young people. By combining learning with action, the Food for Life project continues to help Scouts understand food choices, promote healthy habits, and appreciate the value of shared meals within the community. The activity ended in a joyful atmosphere, with participants enjoying the meal together while gaining knowledge that supports healthier lifestyles and food awareness.
