WWF-India in association with TRAFFIC, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Central Board of School Education initiated wildlife quiz (wild wisdom) competition for schools students during 2008. The quiz was received tremendous response from students, teacher and parents across India. The quiz started with 17cities and reached into 30 cities in India including Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This year the wild wisdom taken another steps to educate and involve the younger kids from the age of 8 year to 10 years. CHENNAI CITY (TAMIL NADU STATE) Wild Wisdom pamphlets and brochure was send across to schools in Tamil Nadu and targeted the international schools, CBSE schools, State Board and Government schools. A total of 250 schools wild wisdom communication was send through courier, email, hand deliver and through media publication. Following with confirmed registered school, the wild wisdom school elimination was conducted in all the schools. The top two students who secured high marks in school level in both Junior and Middle school level were selected for city level quiz on 27th August 2014. A total of 27 school and 826 students were registered for wild wisdom quiz. The city level quiz was organized in association with Kumararani Meena Muthaiah Arts and Science Collge, Adyar on 27th August 2014 at their college Auditorium. Before the quiz, Senior Education officer has given brief introduction about wild wisdom quiz and Ms. Akila Prabhu, Volunteer encouraged students to compete each other for this quiz. The Junior level first round quiz was started and selected five team for final round quiz. Before this individual students registered through their parents school level elimination was conducted for two schools (Vidya Mandir, Mylapore and Sacret Heart School, Church Park) and selected top two for city level.
