Swachhta Pakhwada: Clean & Green
Our motivation was to promote cleanliness, civic responsibility, and community participation by contributing through Shramdaan at Suratgarh Junction during Swachhta Pakhwada. Through this initiative, we aimed to encourage people to keep public places clean and inspire youth to actively contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment.
The activity included a cleanliness drive and Shramdaan at Suratgarh Junction, followed by planting saplings in the designated area. Participants also took a pledge to maintain cleanliness, protect the environment, and encourage others to adopt sustainable practices.
The project taught us the importance of teamwork, community participation, and personal responsibility in maintaining cleanliness. We learned that small collective efforts can create a positive impact on public spaces and inspire others to adopt responsible waste-management and cleanliness practices.
