Sundays on Health Walk for a Drug-Free India
We were inspired by the growing need to create a healthy, drug-free society and empower youth to make positive lifestyle choices. Through the Sundays on Health Walk, we aim to promote physical fitness, spread awareness about the harmful effects of addiction, and encourage young people to become responsible ambassadors for a Nasha Mukt Bharat and a healthier, stronger Viksit Bharat.
We executed the project through a community-based Sundays on Health Walk, involving students, Scouts, NSS, UBA, Anti-Drug Cell and FIT India volunteers. Participants walked through empowered villages, spreading anti-drug awareness messages and interacting with the community. Scouts and UBA volunteers supported outreach activities, encouraging fitness, healthy lifestyles, social responsibility, youth participation, and the vision of a Nasha Mukt Bharat.
Through this project, we learned that collective youth participation can create meaningful social impact. We understood the importance of teamwork, community engagement, communication, and consistent awareness efforts. The involvement of Scouts, NSS, UBA, Anti-Drug Cell, and FIT India volunteers strengthened our outreach. We also learned that promoting fitness and healthy lifestyles can inspire communities towards a Nasha Mukt Bharat.
