On the International Day of Peace Celebrations held at Saru MGM Primary School, our school had received the Tamarind Tree plant (Imli) for planting in school. In the afternoon on the 21st of September, 2016; 4 Scout leaders and 20 Scouters of the school planted the Tamarind Tree. This tree is named, "The Tree of Peace" as it will grow and remain at the place it is planted. As it will grow up, peace signs will be placed all around it. Two young scouters were selected from year 6 to water the tree every day.
