Health Harmony

The project on "Health Harmony: Menstrual Hygiene & Anemia" was inspired by a commitment to addressing critical gaps in health education and access. Observing the impact of poor menstrual hygiene and anemia on individuals' well-being and daily life highlighted the urgent need for improved resources and awareness. This initiative aims to empower communities with knowledge, improve menstrual health practices, and combat anemia through comprehensive support and education.

At Somangalam School, we executed the project by hosting interactive workshops and educational sessions on menstrual hygiene and anemia. We collaborated with health experts to deliver accurate information and provided students with educational materials. We also distributed menstrual products and iron supplements to address immediate needs. Engaging activities and open discussions were facilitated to ensure students understood and felt supported, fostering a healthier and informed community.

The project underscored the effectiveness of interactive workshops and expert collaboration in addressing menstrual hygiene and anemia. Key learnings included the importance of hands-on education, immediate resource distribution, and the need for continuous community support to maintain impact and engagement.
