Flags of Courage-Empowering Scouts for Tomorrow
What inspired you to take up the project?
As a Scout leader and a dedicated servant of my community and country, my motivation for this project stems from a desire to empower young minds with practical skills, strong values, and a sense of service. I aim to nurture responsible, confident, and compassionate individuals who can contribute positively to society and carry forward the spirit of “Be Prepared.” Watching scouts grow into capable leaders inspires me to continue guiding and serving both my community and nation.
What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?
Throughout this project, I learned the importance of teamwork, patience, and leading by example. Guiding the scouts reinforced how practical skills, discipline, and a spirit of service shape confident and responsible individuals. I also realized that empowering young people not only benefits them but strengthens the community and nurtures future leaders for our country.
Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?
Skill, Service, and Spirit: Scout Boot Camp 2025 On 13th September, the school held a one-day Scout Boot Camp, “Skill, Service, and Spirit: Building Scouts for Tomorrow,” inspiring teamwork, practical skills, and leadership. Scouts mastered signals, first aid, jungle survival, and Messengers of Peace, building discipline, courage, and a spirit to serve. The camp celebrated camaraderie, character, and fitness, shaping scouts into confident, responsible leaders for the future.
What was the project impact?
The project strengthened scouts’ survival skills and promoted physical fitness, preparing them for challenges while fostering good health.
